BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The La Salle women's cross country team competed in the 43rd annual Paul Short Run at Lehigh's Goodman Campus Course on Saturday.
Kaitlin Poiesz was the first Explorer to cross the finish line on the 6K course, placing 87
th with a time of 21:17 while
Morgan Szekely finished in 135
th place (21:42).
Grace Mancini,
Emily Ward and
Alyssa Quinn were the next three across for La Salle. Mancini ran 22:30 while Ward finished in 22:44 and Quinn clocked 23:22.
The Explorers will split up on October 15 as the women will run in both the Princeton Invitational and the Lafayette Invitational.
