Men's Cross Country | October 28, 2016
MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – The La Salle men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete on Saturday morning in the Atlantic 10 Championships at Pole Green Park. The women's 5k race begins at 10 AM while the gun for the men's 5-mile race will go off at 10:50 AM.

The men sent runners to both the Princeton Invitational and the Leopard Invitational on October 15. At Princeton,
Francis Ferruzzi finished third in a field of 225 runners to help the Explorers place 5th of 23 teams and earn an Atlantic 10 Co-Performer of the Week award.
Bradley Heuer was La Salle's other top 10 finisher at Princeton, clocking 24:32.9 to finish ninth.
Stephen Lewandowski wasn't far behind, finishing 12th with a time of 24:36.3. Meanwhile at the Leopard Invitational,
Ben De Venezia led the Explorers with a 12th place finish in the field of 86.
On the women's side, junior
Kaitlin Poiesz was the first Explorer across the finish line at the Princeton Invitational, clocking 22:01.7 to place 21st of 215 runners. Next across for the Blue and Gold was
Emily Ward in 58th with a time of 22:43.1.
Freshmen
Grace Mancini and
Alyssa Quinn were the next two finishers for La Salle, finishing in 23:24.7 and 23:58.5, respectively.
