La Salle has won all nine meetings with Rider in a series that began in 1981. Thursday's meeting will be the first since the 2010-11 season.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle is looking to bounce back from an 86-70 loss at Temple on Monday night.

Ashanti Freeland had a career-high 14 rebounds to pair with nine points and three blocks against the Owls. The junior's previous career-high of 13 rebounds came last season at UMBC.
-La Salle outrebounded the Owls 41-39 on Monday, including 19-17 on the offensive glass.

Amy Griffin has paced La Salle's scoring attack in both games this season, going for 16 against Lafayette and dropping 24 at Temple.

Jasmine Alston had a steal against Temple to move past Ashley Gale (2007-11) into 5th on the all-time steals leaderboard with 201.

Micahya Owens finished with eight points on Monday, and now has 1,259 career points. The senior needs just 21 points to tie Ellen Malone (1978-82) for 13th place on the all-time scoring list.
Scouting the Broncs
-Rider looks to improve to 3-0 to open a season for the first since 1982-83 after a win at Princeton last Friday and a defeat of Lafayette in their home opener on Monday.
-Preseason Second Team All-MAAC selection Robin Perkins poured in 22 points in Monday's win while reigning MAAC Rookie of the Week Stella Johnson set a Rider record with eight steals.
-Perkins is averaging 19.0 points per game to lead RU's scoring efforts while Kamila Hoskova and Yeliz Dogan are bothing pulling down 5.5 rebounds per game to pace the Broncs on the glass.
-Rider finished the 2015-16 season 8-22 (5-15 MAAC) to finish tied for ninth.
