All-Time Series vs UMKC

This is the first meeting between the two programs.

Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle has won four straight games and seven of their last eight to push their record to 7-4.

-The Explorers handled Delaware State 78-38 last Wednesday for their fourth straight win. The 40-point win surpassed a 78-41 defeat of Massachusetts (Jan. 11, 2014) as the largest margin of victory under head coach Jeff Williams.

-La Salle limited the Hornets to just 38 points, the lowest opponent scoring total this season. The defense smothered the Hornets, limiting Delaware State to single-digit scoring totals in the 2nd and 4th quarters. The Explorers allowed just four points in the 2nd quarter and seven points in the 4th.

-Amy Griffin led the charge for the Explorers with 22 points, six assists and five rebounds. Adreana Miller added 17 points while Shalina Miller poured in a season-high 14 points and four blocks.

-All nine Explorers who dressed for the game against DSU found the scoring column. Anemone Scheel and Lisa Mintzer both chipped in eight points off the bench, which was a season-high for Mintzer.

Scouting the Kangaroos
-UMKC has dropped their last three games, including both games of the Roo Holiday Classic last week. The Roos fell to Southern Illinois 77-69 last Monday and Northern Illinois 86-75 on Tuesday.

-UMKC is led in scoring by Samantha Waldron, who is averaging 14.5 points per game. The junior is shooting 44.7 percent (59-for-132) from the field, including 42.9 percent (30-for-70) from three-point range.

-Waldron led the way for UMKC at the Roo Holiday Classic, tallying 55 points over the two games, including 37 in the loss against Southern Illinois.

-Junior Kiana Law leads the team in rebounds, grabbing 6.8 per game.

-UMKC, who won four straight games prior to their current three-game skid, is beginning a four-game road trip with Wednesday's game.
