Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle has won four straight games and seven of their last eight to push their record to 7-4.
-The Explorers handled Delaware State 78-38 last Wednesday for their fourth straight win. The 40-point win surpassed a 78-41 defeat of Massachusetts (Jan. 11, 2014) as the largest margin of victory under head coach
Jeff Williams.
-La Salle limited the Hornets to just 38 points, the lowest opponent scoring total this season. The defense smothered the Hornets, limiting Delaware State to single-digit scoring totals in the 2nd and 4th quarters. The Explorers allowed just four points in the 2nd quarter and seven points in the 4th.

Amy Griffin led the charge for the Explorers with 22 points, six assists and five rebounds.
Adreana Miller added 17 points while
Shalina Miller poured in a season-high 14 points and four blocks.
-All nine Explorers who dressed for the game against DSU found the scoring column.
Anemone Scheel and
Lisa Mintzer both chipped in eight points off the bench, which was a season-high for Mintzer.
Scouting the Kangaroos
-UMKC has dropped their last three games, including both games of the Roo Holiday Classic last week. The Roos fell to Southern Illinois 77-69 last Monday and Northern Illinois 86-75 on Tuesday.
-UMKC is led in scoring by Samantha Waldron, who is averaging 14.5 points per game. The junior is shooting 44.7 percent (59-for-132) from the field, including 42.9 percent (30-for-70) from three-point range.
-Waldron led the way for UMKC at the Roo Holiday Classic, tallying 55 points over the two games, including 37 in the loss against Southern Illinois.
-Junior Kiana Law leads the team in rebounds, grabbing 6.8 per game.
-UMKC, who won four straight games prior to their current three-game skid, is beginning a four-game road trip with Wednesday's game.
