PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle field hockey team will travel to Towson on Friday to play the Tigers at 6:00 pm before returning to Hank DeVincent to play its home opener against Lehigh on Sunday. The Explorers will open play against the Mountain Hawks at 12:00 pm.
Scouting the Explorers…
-Â The Explorers are 1-2 on the season under Michelle Marks-Salmi, who is her eighth year as head of the program.
- Senior
Rachel Hartman recorded 15 saves and tied her career high saves per game in the 3-2 loss against Temple last weekend. Hartman ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in both saves with 24 and save percentage, averaging .800.

Kendall Kreider and
Abbey Lawrence both found the back of the cage last weekend against Temple, with assists from
Sophie Lozowski and
April Stein.
-Kreider leads the team in goals, with three, while Lozowski leads in assists, also with three. Kreider ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in shots per game and fourth in goals.

- Towson goalie Emilee Woodall tallied 11 saves against Lock Haven last weekend, with freshman Paige Zaleppa posting her first defensive save of her collegiate career against the Lady Eagles.
- Freshman Carly Herman posted Towson's first defensive save of the season against Saint Francis, while Woodall posted 14 saves against the Red Flash.
