PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team will look to hand No. 20 Villanova their first loss of the season when they welcome the 9-0 Wildcats to Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center on Wednesday afternoon.

Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle got back in the win column over the weekend with a 71-48 victory at Delaware State on Sunday evening.
-
Amy Griffin was named the A-10 Player of the Week on Monday after recording her first career triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against DSU. Her 11 rebounds and 10 assists were both career-high performances.
-Four Explorers scored in double figures against the Hornets, paced by 17 points from
Adreana Miller. Griffin had 16, freshman
Deja King had a season-high 11 points and
Shalina Miller added 10 points and eight rebounds.
-Junior
Jeryn Reese secured a season-high eight rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench at DSU, and is averaging 3.9 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game this year.
-As a team, the Explorers pulled down a season-high 52 rebounds at Delaware State, and held a 52-35 advantage on the glass.
Scouting the Wildcats
-Although Villanova hasn't played since December 10 due to final exams, the Wildcats remained at No. 20 in Monday's AP Poll after starting the season 9-0.
-Leading up to the hiatus, the Wildcats won road games at Fairfield 73-44 on December 6 before a 69-65 win at Temple (Dec. 10).
-Junior guard Adrianna Hahn earned Big East Player of the Week on December 11 after averaging 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the wins over Fairfield and Temple.
-Villanova has allowed just 82 turnovers this season, which is fewest in the NCAA by a large margin. Penn is next on the list with 95 turnovers.
