PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team welcomes the Rider Broncs to Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center on Wednesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Scouting the Explorers

-La Salle has won three of their last four games, including a Big 5 win over Penn (11/29) their last time in front of the home crowd. The Explorers will look to rebound from a 71-60 loss at Wisconsin on Saturday.
 
-La Salle hit a season-high 19 foul shots on Saturday, and got to the line 24 times on the afternoon. The Explorers also took 24 free throws at American (11/13). 
 
-The Explorers are shooting 41.9 percent from the field, which is fourth in the A-10. Shalina Miller is shooting an impressive 61.2 percent from the floor to pace La Salle, and is averaging 8.6 points per game.
 
-Amy Griffin leads La Salle in scoring with 16.5 points per game, and has been lights out from three-point range this season. The senior is 13-for-26 from beyond the arc (50.0 %), which is tied for third in the A-10.
 
-The Explorers are 9-1 all-time against Rider in a series that began in 1981.
 
Scouting the Broncs
- Rider earned their first win of the season on Friday behind 28 points from Stella Johnson. The Broncs topped visiting Vermont, 64-49, inside Alumni Gym.
 
-Johnson's 28 points are a career-high, and the sophomore also added six assists, five steals, four rebounds. Johnson is second on the team in scoring this season (13.1 ppg).
 
-Kamila Hoskova is Rider's leading scorer this season (13.4 ppg). The senior has scored in double figures in all but one game this year.  
 
-Rider knocked down a season-best eight three-pointers against UVM, and forced 19 turnovers.
 
-Rider is 0-4 away from home this season, most recently dropping a pair of games in the Seton Hall Thanksgiving Tournament.
