All-Time Series vs Massachusetts
UMass leads the all-time series 17-12 but the Explorers are 6-3 against the Minutewomen under
Jeff Williams. The Explorers defeated the Minutewomen 68-64 at home on January 25, erasing an 18-point deficit in the second half in the midst of a five-game win streak.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle looks to rebound from a hard-fought 79-74 loss to Saint Louis at home on Wednesday night. The Explorers were within a point with 26.0 seconds remaining but couldn't find the equalizer in the final seconds.
-The Explorers can clinch a home game for the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championship with a win against UMass. La Salle would also clinch with a loss by either Richmond or VCU.

Amy Griffin, who leads the A-10 in scoring with 20.1 points per game, netted a season-high 28 points against the Billikens Wednesday. Griffin was a perfect 10-for-10 from the foul line, marking the first time an Explorer was perfect from the line with at least 10 attempts in a game since Brittany Wilson went 14-for-14 from the line in a 68-57 win at UMass on January 30, 2013.

Jasmine Alston added a season-high 17 points against Saint Louis, going 7-for-13 from the field and 3-for-4 from the line. Alston narrowly missed matching her career-high of 18 points, which came her sophomore season against Towson (November 29, 2014).
-Alston is 9th in the NCAA in assists with 7.0 assists per game and third in the A-10 with 8.8 rebounds per game. The senior is the only player in the NCAA averaging at least 7.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds.
-Sofi Ngwafang pulled down a season-high eight rebounds on Wednesday as the Explorers held a 38-32 advantage on the boards. La Salle is 11-4 on the season when outrebounding opponents.

Micahya Owens has 1,448 career points, and needs just four points to pass Jill Crandley (1982-86) and move into 7th place on La Salle's all-time scoring list.
Scouting the Minutewomen
-Massachusetts has lost their last eight games, and are coming off a 56-45 loss at Richmond on Wednesday.
-Maggie Mulligan led the Minutewomen against Richmond with 18 points and 10 rebounds for her 18th double-double of the season. The 18 double-doubles are third in the NCAA this season.
-Hailey Leidel, the program's all-time leading freshman scorer, paces the Minutewomen in scoring with 16.0 points per game. The Brownstown, Mich., native is the second-leading freshman scorer in the NCAA, the top scoring rookie in the A-10 and the third-overall scorer in the league.
-The Minutewomen shoot 35.1 percent from three-point range, which is second in the Atlantic 10.
