BURLINGTON, N.C. – The La Salle University men's golf team finished the first round of the Phoenix Invitational Monday afternoon at the par 71 Alamance Country Club and are tied for 15
th with a combined score of 302 ( 18).
LA SALLE SCORECARD:
- Freshman Dragon Theam, who is fresh off a tournament victory, paces the Explorers after the first round. The Jacksonville, Fla. native carded a 74 ( 3) and sits tied for 53rd.
- Sophomore David Kim sits second on the La Salle scorecard after scoring a 75 ( 4) on Monday.
- A pair of freshman bunker down the three and four spots for the Explorers. Matthew Werner hit a 76 ( 5), while Parker Wine carded a 77 ( 6).
- Rounding out the La Salle lineup is sophomore Ron Fischang. The McKinney, Texas native carded a 78 ( 7) in round one.

La Salle will compete in round two of the Phoenix Invitational later on Monday.
