Scouting the Explorers

-La Salle will recognize seniors Iyonna Crenshaw, Ashanti Freeland and Amy Griffin in a pregame ceremony beginning at 6:45 p.m.

-The Explorers are looking to rebound from a 70-49 loss at Saint Joseph's on Saturday. The Blue and Gold led for all but 34 seconds of the opening half before Saint Joseph's surged ahead after the break.

-Ashanti Freeland pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds on Saturday, including four on the offensive end. The senior is averaging 5.6 rebounds per game, which leads the team.

-Amy Griffin has 143 blocks for her career, and needs just five rejections to pass Linda French (1982-87) as La Salle's all-time leading shot-blocker. Freeland will also end up as one of La Salle's most prolific shot blockers. The 6-3 forward has 96 career blocks, which is fourth in program history.

-La Salle is 3-1 all-time against the Wildcats, and won a 65-58 decision at Davidson last January. The Wildcats joined the Atlantic 10 in 2014 after 21 years in the SoCon.

Scouting the Wildcats
-Davidson is in the midst of a four-game skid, recently coming up short in a 70-68 decision at UMass. The Minutewomen hit a layup with 1:05 to go to break up a 68-68 tie and Davidson was unable to convert on its last two possessions.

-Katie Turner tied her season-high for the third time with six threes on her way to 18 points on Saturday. Mackenzie Latt had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Justine Lyon dropped in 11 points, and Sarah Donovan and Kianna Speight scored 10 points each off the bench.

-Saturday was the first time this year that five Wildcats scored in double figures in the same game.

-Davidson has three scorers averaging in double figures in A-10 games in Latt (16.5 ppg), Lyon (12.9) and Turner (12.1). Lyon will become Davidson's 20th 1,000-point scorer with eight points on Wednesday.
