DAYTON, Ohio - La Salle women's tennis went on the road for its first Atlantic 10 match of the season against Dayton on Sunday. The Explorers suffered a 7-0 loss, as the Flyers won their fifth straight match and improved to 3-1 in league play.

Senior Jade Smith took the first set of her match at No. 4 singles against Kelly Pleiman, but was edged in the second set and the third-set super tiebreak. 

Dayton earned a pair of doubles wins to pick up the first point of the match, before sweeping the singles matches.

La Salle will face Wright State in its next match on Monday, March 12.
