Nick Gruber fired a one-over par 72 to stand in a tie for seventh place after the first day of the Wildcat Invitational on Monday. Gruber is one of 11 players that are four shots off the lead heading into the second and final day of the event on Tuesday.

Brandon Raihl each shot 78 for the Explorers, who totaled 311 over the first 18 holes. Junior
Nick Geiman (83) and freshman Ronald Fischang (84) rounded out the contingent of La Salle players in the field.
Drexel put together an impressive two-under par round of 282 and holds an eight stroke lead over St. John's. David Powers of Saint Peter's is atop the leaderboard after his three-under par 68.
