PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team has added outfielder Maddy Little to the team's 2019 signing class, head coach
Brooke Darreff announced. Little becomes the final signee of the class, joining the other five student-athletes who signed in December.
"We are excited to add Maddy to our talented 2019 class," Darreff said. "She is a fierce outfielder with determination and drive. Her speed along with her passion and grit is a wonderful addition to our roster."
Little is set to graduate from Spring-Ford High School this June, where she is set to start her fourth year on varsity. The 5-6 outfielder aided her team to a 2018 PAC 10 Championship Title in her junior season when she was named First Team Liberty Division. The Royersford, Pa. native also helped the Rams to a PIAA 6A State Semifinals appearance as a sophomore.
Off the field, Little has been named to the distinguished honor roll ever year of high school, landing herself a spot on the PAC 10 All-Academic Team in 2018 and a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of high school, she plays travel ball for PA Chaos and plans on majoring in chemistry at La Salle.
