HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. – The La Salle men's golf team concluded its fall season with the annual City Six Tournament. The Explorers finished third of five with a team score of 306 (+26) in the one-round tournament.
 
ABOUT CITY SIX:

• The event took place at Huntingdon Valley Country Club on the 7,042-yard, par 70 course.
• Five of the City Six teams competed.
• A total of 30 golfers competed.

LA SALLE SCORECARD:

• Junior David Kim led the Explorers with a 75 (+5) to finish tied for sixth overall.
• Junior Ron Fischang, sophomore Parker Wine, and freshman Karsen Rush each carded a 77 (+7). The trio was tied for 10^th.
• Sophomore Matthew Werner shot a 79 (+9).
• Rookie Nikita Romanov rounded out the Blue & Gold's scorecard with an 83 (+13).

THE FIELD:

• Drexel took the team title with a 290 (+10).
• The Dragons' Connor Schmidt sat atop the individual leaderboard with a 69 (-1).

COACH SAYS:

• "All fall we've had very consistent play out of our squad with five players for the first time with scoring averages at 75.8 or better and the lowest team score average in school history heading into today and we continued on that trend again today," said Director of Golf/Head Coach Scott Yurgalevicz.
• To put in perspective how good this team has been, in the history of the program we have never had more than 2 players after the fall semester lower than a 75.8 or better and we 5 players at the moment." 
• We're still missing the deep rounds in the 60's to start making some noise and move up in the rankings but we're hoping to put in some extra work this offseason in the Markmann Center to make that happen."
