FAIRFAX, Va. - Senior Ariel Mitchell once again broke her own school record in the 60-meter dash to headline the opening day of the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships for the women's track and field team on Saturday,

WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Mitchell set a new 60-meter record for the fourth time this season as she ran the fastest time in the preliminary event, sprinting in 7.58 seconds.
• Junior Jessica Bryant and senior Kaleah Miller placed fourth and fifth in the long jump with matching leaps of 5.75 meters.
• The Explorers took fourth in the distance medley relay, as freshman Liz Mancini, junior Desirae Osley, sophomore Makayla Eberly and junior Grace Mancini joined forces to finish in 11:46.47.
• Freshmen Arianna Wallace and Leah Sassaman finished 15th and 16th in the 800-meter preliminaries, while sophomore Deirdre Gilmore was 16th in the 5,000 meters.
