ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2018-19 men's golf season came to a close on Sunday with the final day of the Atlantic 10 Championship at Grand Cypress Golf Club. La Salle finished 10
th of 11 with a three-day total of 924.
VCU held steady from day two a claimed the team title at 867 and George Washington's Logan Lowe took the individual crown with a 210.
LA SALLE SCORECARD:
- After adding five strokes from round one to round two, sophomore Ron Fischang matched his round one score of 76 (+4) on day three. Fischang ended the three rounds tied for 39th overall with a 233.
- Freshman Dragon Theam matched his day two score of a 79 (+7) and finished tied for 41st overall with classmate Parker Wine and sophomore David Kim. The trio finished with a 234.
- Wine added 10 strokes to his day two score for an 82 (+10) in the final round.
- Kim shaved three off of his score in the third round for a 76 (+4).
- Freshman Matthew Werner continued to improve his score on the final day. From Friday to Saturday, Werner dropped seven strokes and downed another eight on Sunday for a 72 (E).
