BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The La Salle University men's cross country team began its 2019 season at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• The Explorers ran as a pack in their first meet, ending up with the 24th-28th finishers.
• Junior Joe Boyle was 24th with a time of 19:47.99, followed immediately by redshirt senior Anthony Hawthorne at 19:48.09.
• Right behind them were junior Luke Jaciw-Zurakowsky, sophomore Ibrahim Kedir and senior Nathan Gillis, who all finished within .06 seconds of each other.
• Sophomore Matthew Bridger also competed for La Salle, finishing in 20:02.36.

• The Explorers will have three weeks to train before their next competition, the Iona Meet of Champions on Friday, Sept. 20.
