STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The La Salle University women's track and field team competed at at the UAlbany Winter Classic held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, led by top-10 finishes from freshmen Olabisi Adams and Sammie Miller.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Adams placed 10th among 48 competitors in the long jump, posting a leap of 5.29 meters.
• Meanwhile in the 800 meters, Miller took 10th out of 69 runners with a time of 2:17.99, while junior Makayla Eberly was 23rd.
• Sophomore Liz Mancini ran the mile in 5:10.71 to place 18th out of 66 runners in the event.
• Junior Deirdre Gilmore finished 27th among a field of 59 in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:38.16
• Freshman Theresa Richardson was 27th among 40 jumpers in the triple jump with a mark of 10.44 meters.

• The Explorers will send groups to the Fastrack National Invite and the David Hemery Valentine Invite next weekend.
