KINGSTON, R.I. – The 4x800-meter relay team took bronze for the La Salle University women's track and field team on the final day of the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Freshmen Sammie Miller, Jerika Lufrano and Christine Mancini teamed up with junior Makayla Eberly to take third in the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:08.68.
• Christine Mancini also notched a fourth place finish in the 1,000 meters as the rookie crossed the finish line in a season-best 2:55.60.
• Sophomore sisters El Mancini and Liz Mancini both finished in the top-10 in the 3,000-meter run. El placed sixth with a time of 9:51.84, while Liz was 10th in 10:05.15.
• Lufrano scored in the mile as well, finishing the race in 5:01.69 to end up in sixth place.
• In her final A-10 indoor meet, senior Jessica Bryant posted a leap of 11.10 meters (36' 5") to place ninth in the triple jump. Freshman Theresa Richardson jumped 11.00 meters and finished 13th out of 22.

• The Explorers will compete at the ECAC Championships in Boston next weekend.
