NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 women's basketball pairings for the 2020-21 season have been announced by the conference Monday afternoon. The upcoming season, which is the 45th anniversary of the founding of the A-10, will feature a 16-game league slate for the league's 14 programs.
 
Each team will face every A-10 opponent once, and three teams twice. The 2021 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled be played March 5-7 at VCU's Stuart C. Siegel Center in Richmond, Va., with the first round hosted on campus sites on March 2. The complete 2020-21 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date.
 
La Salle is set to take on Saint Joseph's, Rhode Island, and St. Bonaventure – all teams the Explorers defeated with a perfect 4-0 record last season – in a home and away series.
 
In addition, the Blue & Gold will welcome Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, and UMass to Tom Gola Arena at the TruMark Financial Center for a single home bout.
 
To conclude, La Salle will travel to Davidson, Dayton, Richmond, Saint Louis, and VCU in 20-21 for a single game.
 
The Explorers more than doubled its conference win total last season from the prior year with a 7-9 league record. La Salle will welcome back a roster that features its top five scorers from last season and a freshman class of four newcomers.
