NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman Kelli McGroarty was dubbed the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week in the season's inaugural awards, the league announced on Tuesday. La Salle has now claimed three-straight Rookie of the Week awards from the A-10 dating back to last season when sophomores Danielle Rooney and Naya Vialva claimed the honor during the final two weeks of the season. 
 
In her first career game, the Voorhees, N.J. native tallied two goals, including the game-winner, with three shots as the Explorers downed Villanova, 4-0.
