CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Senior Christine Mancini earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors with a 14th-place finish at the 2023 Cross Country Championships Saturday. The La Salle women's cross country team finished ninth in the team standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Mancini was the leader of the Explorers' pack throughout, as she ran in fourth position through the 3,000-meter mark of the race.
• Freshman Helene Usher also ranked in the top 30 through the 3K, as she stood in 26th.
• The close of the race saw a few runners pick up steam, pushing Mancini into 14th position, which was still good enough to earn all-league honors.
• Usher remained pretty consistent and closed in 27th place, with Neve Moulai (52nd), Jerika Lufrano (61st), and Gwenna Goode (64th) rounding out the scorers for La Salle.
