BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Explorers women's basketball will travel to face the Lehigh Mountain Hawks Thursday night starting at 7:00 p.m. La Salle enters tomorrow sitting at 3-5 on the season, while Lehigh is 7-1 thus far in 2023.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle will look to rebound from a tough outing at Rutgers on Tuesday ad avoid losing its fourth straight game.
- Freshman Nicole Melious has been consistent offensively for the Explorers in the last two games. She totaled 13 points against Virginia and 12 against Rutgers.
- Jolene Armendariz and Amber Bullard each had a big impact on the glass at Rutgers. The duo combined for 19 of the Explorer's 38 rebounds against the Scarlet Knights.
- Armendariz is the team-leader in rebounds averaging 6.6 per game this season.
- La Salle and Lehigh met last season at Tom Gola Arena and the Explorers came out on top winning 66-54. Molly Masciantonio played 24 minutes in that game and came out with four steals and three assists in the win.
- Julie Jekot, Emma Egan, Fiona Connolly, and Emilee Tahata all got minutes in this match up last season. Connolly and Egan combined for seven points.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS:
- Lehigh has gotten off to a strong start to their season as they sit at 7-1. They are currently on a two-game winning streak after beating Drexel and Hofstra this past week.
- Ella Stemmer, Lily Fandre, and Colleen McQuillen all are averaging double-digit points this season. Stemmer leads them all at 15.6 points per game.
- On the glass, Meghan O'Brien leads the way for Lehigh, averaging seven rebounds per game this season, most coming on the defensive end.
- As a team, Lehigh has defended the three-point shot well. Opponents are averaging only 4.6 three-pointers per game.
