WASHINGTON, D.C. – The La Salle women's basketball team will hit the road again to face the George Washington Revolutionaries Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6:00 p.m. This will be the first and only meeting of the regular season between these two programs.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- The Explorers enter tomorrow with a 7-16 overall record after Saturday's loss to the Duquesne Dukes 57-52. La Salle is 4-8 in conference play this year.
- Saturday's game showed a lot of fight from the team at one point being down 13 points in the fourth, the Explorers got it to a three-point game with under a minute remaining, but it would not be enough.
- Jolene Armendariz led La Salle in points scored Saturday with 15, she was 3-7 from three-point range, which also led the team. She also pulled in ten rebounds, her third double-double on the season.
- Nicole Melious and Makayla Miller were big down the stretch of Saturday's game. They teamed up on the play late to cut the Duke's lead to three points. Melious finished with ten points, three rebounds, and two assists.
- Miller ended her double-digit scoring streak against Duquesne, only scoring nine points. This streak lasted ten games where she averaged 12.9 points per game in that stretch.
- Gabby Turco made history against Duquesne, becoming the 28th person in La Salle women's basketball history to score 1,000 career points. Turco spend two years at Saint Anslem before coming to La Salle.
- The Explorers are ranked in certain categories within the conference worth noting: 3rd in 3-PT field goals made (172), 3rd in opponent 3-PT FG percentage (.285), and 3rd in steals (206).
- La Salle has now lost three-straight games after Saturday's loss to Duquesne. The Explorers sit at 4-8 in conference play, one game above Dayton and Fordham. The Revolutionaries are 2-10 in conference play.
- As a team, the Explorers take as many three-point shots as any team in the Atlantic 10 Conference with 27.4 per game. Nationally, La Salle is ranked 10th in the nation in that category. Marshall ranks first taking 30.8 three-point attempts per game this season.
SCOUTING THE REVOLUTIONARIES:
- Last time out, GW fell to a tough Richmond squad 83-61. The Revs now sit at 9-15 this season, however they are 2-10 in conference, ranked third to last in front of St. Bonaventure and Massachusetts.
- The two wins in conference for the Revs this season came against St. Bonaventure. Both games dominated by the GW offense.
- Nya Robertson is the key piece to the GW offense. She ranks fifth in scoring in the conference averaging 15.1 points per game this season.
- Robertson is averaging 2.4 three-point field goals made per game, fifth in the conference.
- Although La Salle and GW rank similarly in offensive stats, the GW defense is what separates the two teams. They are ranked sixth, La Salle is 13th.
