Women’s Soccer Adds 12 to 2024 Class

PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's soccer head coach Paul Royal has announced his 2024 recruiting class, adding 12 freshmen to the roster for the upcoming campaign.
 
The Explorers are looking to build off one of its strongest seasons in recent history last year. The squad earned an 8-1-1 conference record and its first appearance in the conference final since 2017.
 
Ella Cadigan
Midfield | 5-3 | Westfield, N.J.
Westfield High School (NJ Premier FC)

Cadigan is a dynamic player from her midfield spot. During her senior season, she captained Westfield High School to a 16-2 record and a berth in the state semifinals. Over the course of her high school career, she earned First Team All-County honors as both a junior and a senior. Cadigan was named Third Team All-State and earned 2023 Union County Player of the Year.
 
Alexis Garcia
Forward/Midfield | Toms River, N.J.
Toms River North (PDA)
 
Garcia has been an elite goal scorer her entire career. During her four years on varsity, Garcia has scored 64 goals and assisted on 28. She was named All-A Class South Division, as well as All-Ocean County Division all four years she attended high school. A 2021 Sectional State Champion, Garcia was named to the All-Shore Team as a junior and senior. In 2021 and 2023 she was named a top 20 player in Central Jersey by the New Jersey Girls Soccer Coaches Association (NJGSCA).
 
Taylor Jourdanais
Defense/Midfield | 5-9 | Halfmoon, N.Y.
Shenendehowa High School (Albany Alleycats)
 
Joudanais is one of two signees in the class who does not hail from Pennsylvania or New Jersey. A star for Shenendehowa High School, Jourdanais was twice named New York State Section 2 First Team as a junior and senior. She was named a New York state All-Star as a senior and earned regional championships with Shenendehowa in both 2021 and 2023. Jourdanais won a USYS regional title with the Albany Alleycats in 2023.
 
Brianna Lewis
Center/Outside Back | 5-7 | Logan Township, N.J.
Kingsway Regional Township (SJEB FC)
 
Brianna "Bri" Lewis was one of the central pieces for an elite Kingsway team this previous season. She led a defense that allowed under a goal per game while putting up a 16-3-3 record and earned a trip to the South Jersey finals. During her high school career, Lewis earned several individual accolades, including Second Team All-South Jersey Times as a junior, First Team All-South Jersey Times as a senior, Second Team All N.J. Group IV, and First Team All Tri-County Conference.
 
Kate Loncar
Forward | Oak Ridge, N.J.
Jefferson Township High School (PDA Blue)

Loncar comes to La Salle following a decorated career with Jefferson Township and PDA. The forward was named First Team All-Conference three times and received All-County and All-State recognition in her final three years of high school. She was named an NJGSCA Top 20 Player in the North 1 Region. On the club side, Loncar was a three-time ECNL North Atlantic Conference Champion. She also played basketball at Jefferson

Catherine Martin
Defense | 5-8 | Hershey, Pa
Hershey High School (Penn FC)
 
A multi-sport star, Martin arrives in Philadelphia after playing for club powerhouse Penn FC. Martin helped the club win back-to-back Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association Championships in 2023 and 2024. She was named one of the Best XI at the 2023 United States Youth Soccer National Championships. On the high school side, Martin earned Mid-Penn All-Star recognition from 2020-23. She was All-State in swimming as well.
 
Sienna Mount
Center Mid/Center Back | 5-8 | Cherry Hill, N.J.
Paul VI High School (SJEB FC)
 
Mount comes from Paul VI in Haddonfield, N.J. A two-sport star, Mount was All-Conference in both soccer and lacrosse as a senior. She was a member of the 2022 N.J. Sectional Champion team in soccer. Mount was an Academy Talent ID from 2020-22.
 
Loghan Myers
Midfielder | Delran, N.J.
Delran High School (PDA South)
 
Myers put up an impressive senior season for Delran High School. The midfielder scored 14 goals to go with eight assists. She was named All-South Jersey, as well as earning All-State (N.J.) recognition, and First Team All-Burlington County.
 
Kameron Rase
Wing/Forward | 5-7 | Enola, Pa
Cumberland Valley High School (Keystone FC GA)
 
Rase starred for a Cumberland Valley Team which placed second in the Mid-Penn Conference last season. She was named First Team All-Conference as both a junior and senior. On the club side, Rase played a key role for national powerhouse Keystone FC. This previous season, Keystone won the USYS regional championship and advanced to the national semifinals.
 
Sophia Rolon
Forward/Midfielder | Marlton, N.J.
Cherokee High School (PDA South ENCL)
 
Rolon was a three-sport star at Cherokee High School. In basketball as a sophomore, she helped her team to a South Jersey Group 4 Conference Championship. In lacrosse, she was a state champion as a senior. Finally, she was named team MVP in soccer.
 
Niki Siafarika
Def/Attacker | Athens, Greece
Panathinaikos WFC
 
Siafarika played club for internationally renowned powerhouse Panathinaikos. The club earned third place in the Greek League. She logged 20 appearances between the U-17 and U-19 teams.
 
Ava Tenaglia
Defense/Midfield | Linwood, N.J.
Mainland High School
 
Tenaglia had a decorated high school career suiting up for Mainland High School. The multi-talented defender/midfielder was thrice named First Team All-Atlantic City and First Team-All Cape Atlantic League. In 2023 she was named Third Team All-South Jersey.
