Track & Field Teams Race in BU Valentine Invitational

BOSTON – The Explorers men's and women's track and field squads competed at Boston University for the second time this season, participating in the BU Valentine Invitational Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the men's team ran its events, followed by the women competing on Saturday.

HOW THEY FINISHED (FRIDAY):

James Ptack finished with a time of 4:10.48 in the men's mile, leading the way for La Salle.
Chanel Muir and Callum Murray were seconds behind him, getting times of 4:13.49 and 4:16.82, respectively.
In the 5k, Matt Hill got 87^th overall, crossing the line in 14:03.07.
David Butts also completed the event, getting it done in 14:36.49.

HOW THEY FINISHED (SATURDAY):

Lexy Rivard's time of 2:11.16 in the 800-meter race got her 59^th place overall.
In the 3k, Neve Moulai completed the race in 9:50.61.
Gwenno Goode placed 29^th in the 5k with a time of 15:59.52, a 10-second personal best.
Coming in right after Goode was Helene Usher, who finished in 16:30.14.

UP NEXT

Both teams will go back to the University of Pennsylvania's Ott Center on Friday, engaging in the Philadelphia Metro meet. The meet will be streamed on ESPN+ and will start at 3 p.m.
