Men's Golf Releases Fall 2026 Schedule

Philadelphia, PA - La Salle men's golf head coach Avery Papalia has announced the Explorers' Fall 2026 schedule. Featuring a familiar slate of tournaments, the Explorers will play 270 holes across six events in three states.

La Salle opens its season at the Bryan National Collegiate (Sept. 12-13), returning to the tournament for the second consecutive year. Last fall, Payton Hawke led the Explorers with a three-over-par finish to tie for 15th in Browns Summit, NC.

The Explorers then return to Pennsylvania for the Temple Invitational at The 1912 Club (Sept. 21-22). In 2025, then-freshman Kyle Virsik paced La Salle to a share of the team title after firing a final-round 68 (-2).

La Salle heads to New York in early October for the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 4-5), returning to the event after a one-year absence. During its last appearance in 2024, then-junior Ben Battye claimed medalist honors at The Links at Hiawatha Landing with an eight-under-par performance over 36 holes.

One week later, the Explorers are back in Pennsylvania for the Bucknell Invitational at Bucknell Golf Club (Oct. 11-13), making their first appearance at the event since 2018, when then-freshman Dragon Theam earned individual medalist honors.

La Salle closes its fall schedule with a trip to North Carolina for the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate (Oct. 25-27) before returning home the following day to compete in the Big 5 Invitational at Stonewall Links (Oct. 28).
