EMMITSBURG, MD. – The La Salle men's tennis team lost to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, 5-2.
The Explorers finished off their busy week of a scheduled six matches. La Salle only competed in four of the six matches, winning having a 2-2 record.
De'Sean Fennell led the Explorers with two victories, one in singles and one in doubles. In the singles match, Fennell, defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-3. The sophomore improved his record to 4-2.
In the doubles match, Fennell teamed up with senior
Trevor Donovan to defeat their opponent, 8-6.
The Explorers will take the court on Monday at home against Saint Peter's. The match against St. Francis (N.Y.) has been postponed.
