Jersey City, N.J. – The La Salle women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match, 6-3, against Saint Peter's University.
 
The Explorers (1-2) received wins from sophomore Celesta Smith, junior Chloe Trave and senior Allison Amrein.
 
Smith improved her record to 2-1 on the season after winning sets 7-6, and 6-0.
 
Junior Chloe Trave defeated her opponent in straight sets, 7-6, and 6-2.
 
Amrein won her second straight match, after winning the tiebreaker 10-4. The senior improved to 2-0 on the season.
 
La Salle dropped all three double matches.
 
The Explorers will take to the Belfield Courts on Wednesday as they take on the University of the Sciences at 3:30 p.m.
