PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's tennis team finished off their busy weekend with a victory over Philadelphia University, 9-0.
De'Sean Fennell led the Explorers (3-1) in the number one position with victory over the Rams number one, Ayman Barakat.
Fennell improved his record to 3-2 on the fall season. The sophomore also teamed up with
Trevor Donovan to win in the doubles match, 8-3.
The Explorers finished the weekend with a 2-1 record after dropping the match on Saturday against Fordham.
“The team was not tired today. They have been working so hard with Scott (Bovitch) in strength and conditioning off the court” said coach Ed Colfer.
The Explorers continue their busy schedule Thursday at the Belfield Courts against the University of the Sciences. Check back to goexplorers.com for the latest on La Salle athletics.
