PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's tennis team will travel to Millersville University to open up the 2012-2013 campaign on Sunday.
The matches are set to begin at 10:30 am.
La Salle returns all members of their 2011-2012 team, including senior
Trevor Donovan, earning a 10-12 singles record. Donovan played alongside junior
Joseph LaBate in doubles play recording a 10-10 record.
In addition, coach Ed Colfer looks for upperclassmen
Chas Berenato and
Hunter Selman to make an impact for the Explorers.
Berenato recorded a 6-15 record in singles play, mostly at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. The junior recorded an 8-15 record in doubles competition.
Senior Selman notched an 8-7 record in doubles play, while recording a 1-5 record in singles play.
“Everyone practiced over the summer, which showed at the first week of practice” Colfer said.
