Newark, N.J. – The Explorers opened up their spring season with a loss at the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday. La Salle received a victory from sophomore Rob Kasinow.
Kasinow defeated his opponent Jack Felich in two sets, 6-3, 6-1. The sophomore improved his record to 5-5, dating back to the fall season.
Junior
Chas Berenato took his opponent to a third set. He lost the tiebreaker 5-7, 6-1, 11-9.
Berenato starts his spring campaign off with a 0-1 record, bringing his 2012-2013 record to 5-6.
