ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman Mary Cate Scott earned her first win as an Explorer in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Detroit Mercy. The Quakertown, Pa. native held the Titans to just two runs as the Explorers scored three to clinch their first win of the season.
 
The victory also marks the first win for head coach Ron Shoemaker in his first season with the Explorers.
 
The Explorers also added a 12-3 loss against South Dakota before toppling Detroit Mercy.
