PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a loss at Loyola (MD.), 7-0.
 
Junior Joseph LaBate dropped a tough match after taking the first set, 6-4. The junior played fought in the second set by earning four points, but could not pull off the second set win. In the tiebreaker, LaBate struggled to gain any ground by dropping the final set, 6-2.
 
Trevor Donovan dropped two sets in his final singles play of the regular season. The senior dropped the sets 6-3, 6-4.
 
In doubles play, the senior teamed up with sophomore De'Sean Fennel, but dropped a heartbreaker, 8-2.
 
LaBate teamed up with fellow classmate, Chas Berenato. The pair of juniors dropped a tight match to Loyola's number two and five singles players, 9-8.
 
The Explorers will next be on the court on Thursday when they travel to Mason, OH for the Atlantic 10 Championships. Stay tuned for what time and who the Explorers will take on in the Championship tournament. The Atlantic 10 will announce the match-ups for the conference tournament.
