PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball squad is set to host a non-conference game against the Rider Broncs tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 PM. This marks the third to last game and final non-conference matchup of the 2013 regular season.
Explorer Notes
• La Salle currently stands at 15-29 overall and 3-17 in conference play.
• As a team, the Explorers are batting .229 and have a .948 fielding percentage.

Megan Hodgson leads the team in runs (21), RBIs (37), total bases (69), slugging % (.570), and stolen bases (8).
• With Hodgson's last homerun against UMBC, she tied the La Salle single season record held by Julie Reidenauer ('82), totaling nine homeruns thus far. In addition, Hodgson is just one homerun shy of the all-time career homerun record of 18 held by Cecilia Campbell ('84-'87) and Mary McGrath ('88-'91).

Kendra Heyer has caught fire late in the season and carries a .545 batting average and a .643 on-base percentage over the last eight games. She's recorded 12 hits in those eight games.

Mary Cate Scott overtook sophomore
Alicia Aughton with the lowest ERA on the team, currently holding a 3.98 while Aughton's has slipped to 4.19.
Broncs' Notes
• Rider currently stands at 8-38 on the season and 3-11 in MAAC play.
• The Broncs have lost eight of their last nine.
• As a team, Rider bats .253 and holds a .949 fielding percentage.
• Junior Kehli Washington leads the team in batting average (.363), runs (33), hits (53), on-base % (.429) and steals (23).
• Sophomore Amanda Irving and freshman Dana Sensi carry .339 and .317 batting averages, respectively, while Sensi serves as the team's power hitting with six homeruns and 27 RBIs on the season.
• Freshman Ali Meagher is the ace in the circle for the Broncs, maintaining a 5.47 ERA and a 2-18 record. Redshirt freshman Krista Marrone also throws for Rider and carries a 6.04 ERA and a 6-12 record.
