Men’s Soccer Takes on LIU Brooklyn on Wednesday

Last Time Out
La Salle dropped a 2-1 decision at Bucknell on Sunday after surrendering two second half goals to the Bison. Junior Rob Friskey netted his first goal of the season and senior goalkeeper John McCarthy recorded seven saves in his first game back from injury.

  • Plumhoff now sits at 55 career points, ninth-most in program history.
  • Both Plumhoff and McCarthy were named Atlantic 10 preseason all-conference choices.
  • The Explorers were picked to finish fifth in the conference's preseason coaches poll.

  • LIU Brooklyn has dropped their first three games on the year by a score of 2-0 on each occasion.
  • The Blackbirds were picked to finish eighth in the Northeast Conference preseason poll.
