PHILADELPHIA – The men's tennis team improved to 4-0 with a sweep of Millersville University.
The Explorers were led by junior
De'Sean Fennell. The junior won his singles match in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 7-6.
"The hard work off the court shows when the team plays on the court" said head coach
Tony Green.
Fennell paired up with classmate
Dale Fetterman to earn a decisive 8-1 victory over their opponents. The Explorers swept all three doubles matches earning the doubles point.
Fetterman earned the victory with a two set sweep of his opponent with a score of 6-0.
Freshman
Brian Balico improved his individual record to 5-2 with a two set win.
"Brian is a great addition to the team. He is adjusting the college game very quickly" added coach Green.
Junior
Thomas MacLeod earned a two set victory over his opponent with 6-2, 6-2 score. La Salle swept all the singles matches in two sets.
The Explorers will take the court on October 5th they host Mount Saint Mary's.
