PHILADELPHIA – The women's tennis team where handed their first loss of the season by Philadelphia University, 7-2.
"Philadelphia University was tough team to play and they showed it today. We will get back to practice and prepare for our next match," said head coach
Tony Green.
The Explorers earned a victory from senior
Chloe Trave. In the two set win, the senior scored 6-2, 6-2.
After the Explorers first loss, the record falls to 2-1 on the fall season.
Sophomore
Margot Tovia also notched a win for La Salle. The straight set victory was earned with a score of 6-0, 6-2.
Trave and Tovia had a hard fight in doubles play before dropping the close match, 8-4.
La Salle will take the court on Wednesday when they travel to Holy Family University.
