ECAC All-Stars Release

CENTERVILLE, Mass.—La Salle women's soccer senior Courtney Niemiec has been named an Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star for the second consecutive year.
 
Niemiec earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year recognition in 2012 and remained one of La Salle's most consistent and stalwart defensive presence being named first team All Conference during the 2013 season.  Anchoring a defense that allowed only 18 goals all season, Niemiec pitched in as an offensive threat, netting a goal against George Mason on La Salle's senior day.
 
Niemiec was named to the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team for the second time in her career earlier this season and had been named ECAC Defender of the Year in 2012.
