Philadelphia – The women's tennis team dropped the spring opener to Drexel, 7-0.
The Explorers had a tough time getting started after a long winter break. The team struggled to earn a point after dropping both double matches.
"It was a tough to get outside and practice over the past few weeks with the snow, but we look to improve with each match" said head coach
Tony Green.
Senior Caitlin Coehlo earned a game victory in singles play, but was not able to set victory to put more pressure on the Dragons.
The Explorers will return to the court on March 9th when they take on Wagner College at the Belfield Courts.
