Philadelphia – The La Salle men's tennis team dropped a match against Loyola (Md.), 5-2.
 
The Explorers were lead by senior Chas Berenato, who earned a three set victory. After dropping the first set, the senior fought back to win two straight sets for an important point.
 
"It was good to see Chas turn it around after dropping a tough first set," said head coach Tony Green.
 
La Salle also a point from junior De'Sean Fennell in the number one position. Fennell defeated Connor Pietrak in two straight sets, 6-3 and 7-5.
 
The Explorers could not convert in doubles play, as they dropped all three matches.
 
The team falls to 6-4 with the third straight loss.
 
La Salle will take the court next Saturday when they host Saint Francis University at 11 am.  This match is apart of the athletic departments "Spring Sport T-shirt Series." Free pretzels will be given out those in attendance brought to you by Philly Pretzel Factory.
