BALTIMORE, Md. – La Salle softball split a twin bill in the final day of the Coppin State Tournament. The Blue and Gold fell to Mount St. Mary's 9-0 in the first game of the day, but rallied to stymie tournament host Coppin State 2-0 in the nightcap to finish the weekend with a 3-1 record.
 
The Explorers struggled to get the bats going during the second day of the tournament, getting shutout in their matchup with Mount St. Mary's and scoring just two runs against Coppin State. However, two runs would be enough in game two, as Alicia Aughton pitched a gem for her third victory of the weekend.
