Philadelphia – The La Salle women's tennis team dropped its home opener against Loyola (MD.), 6-0.
 
The Explorers struggled earn a point with winning only one set.  Senior Caitlin Coelho stole a set in the number one position, before dropping the match 6-0, 6-1.
 
"We haven't been able to practice or play much outside, so with the weather beginning to break it will be nice get back into the habit," head coach Tony Green said when asked about the home opener.
 
The Explorers record drops to 2-5 overall between the fall and spring seasons
 
The team will next take the court on Thursday when they travel to Jersey City, N.J. to play Saint Peter's University.
