Philadelphia- The La Salle men's tennis team fell in their first match of the spring season 7-0 to Drexel on Saturday.

The match was a primary match as part of the City Six Invitational, with Drexel winning they move on to play Penn later on Saturday.

The Dragons jumped out to an early lead grabbing the doubles point with Hamza Laalej and Dan Koehler beating Dale Fetterman and Thomas Macleod 6-1 while Badr Ouabdelmoumen and Daniel Hansen grabbed a 6-1 decision over Andy O'Connell and Liam Rodriguez.

In the top singles spot Brian Balico dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Ouabdelmoumen. Mark Robinson fell 6-1, 6-0 in the singles two spot to Alex Fioravante.

Dale Fetterman fell in straight sets 6-0 in singles three while Thomas Macleod dropped straight 6-2 sets to Laalej in the four spot.

Andy O'Connell fell in straight 6-0 sets to Koehler in singles five while the match was rounded out in singles six with Liam Rodriugez falling 6-0, 6-1 to Hansen.

The Explorers return to action on February 28 as they travel to Easton, Pa. to take on Lafayette.
