MERION STATION, Pa. - The La Salle women's tennis team fell to Saint Joseph's 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at the SJU Tennis Complex.  
 
Aurora Davis and Alex Zachem defeated Jade Smith and Jayla Smith 8-0 at No. 1 doubles while Minnoe and Maureen Devlin teamed for an 8-1 victory over Caitlin Coelho and Alexandra Santerelli to give the Hawks the doubles point.  
 
Davis defeated Coelho in straight sets at the top flight, while Minnoe posted a 7-5, 6-1 win on the No. 2 court over Celesta Smith. Kristina Eisenbrand defeated Santarelli 6-0, 6-0 on the third court while Devlin edged Jade Smith 6-2, 7-6 (5) at no. 4 singles.
 
Kelly Mulquina topped Jayla Smith 6-2, 6-0 at no. 5 and Zachem closed out singles play with a victory in straight sets over Kathryn Thomas.
 
The Explorers are back in action at Hofstra on April 1.
