EASTON, Pa.- The La Salle men's tennis team fell 6-1 at Lafayette on Saturday afternoon. Senior 
De'Sean Fennell picked up the point for the Explorers at the singles one position winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
In doubles action, the Explorers put up a fight in the early going. Sophomores 
Brian Balico and 
Mark Robinson dropped a narrow 8-7 (4) decision to Lazer and Pinkard of Lafayette. The other doubles teams saw Fennell and senior 
Dale Fetterman fall 8-4 to Goldstein/Stefanowicz and seniors 
Thomas MacLeod and 
Andrew O'Connell fall 8-0 to give Lafayette the doubles point.
Balico fell in two tightly contested sets in the singles two position. Jake Lazer of Lafayette grabbed the narrow 6-3, 7-5 victory over the sophomore. Singles three saw 
Dale Fetterman narrowly miss earning a point after being highly competitive in both sets. He fell to Brian Pinkard 6-4, 7-6 (4). Sophomore 
Mark Robinson fell in straight sets in the singles four position 6-1, 6-2 to Brian Stefanowicz.
Singles five and six saw Thomas McLoud and senior 
Andrew O'Connell each fall in straight sets 6-0,6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 respectively. Additionally, freshman 
Liam Rodriguez participated in two exhibition sets against Evan Alexander and Chris Kim from Lafayette.
The Explorers return to action this Saturday as they welcome Dayton to Belfield Courts for an 11 am match.
