HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.- The La Salle men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Hofstra on Wednesday afternoon.

Hofstra grabbed the double point thanks to an 8-3 win at doubles one by Wills/Vulinovich over DeSean Fennell and Brian Ballico and a straight 8-0 win at doubles two as Richman/Hendler beat
Dale Fetterman and
Mark Robinson.

In singles competition
Thomas MacLeod put up a fight at singles five. He won the first set 3-6 before Leonard Pires of Hofstra came back and took the second set 7-5. The third set went 10-8 in favor of Hofstra.

DeSean Fennell fell 6-2, 7-5 in singles one to Beau Wills. Ari Richman of Hofstra beat
Brian Balico 6-0, 6-4 at singles two. Singles three saw
Dale Fetterman fall 6-1, 6-1 to Vulinovich.
Mark Robinson fell 6-3, 6-2 in singles four.

The Explorers return to action on Saturday as they host George Mason at Belfield Courts beginning at 2 p.m.
