FAIRFAX, Va.- The La Salle men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to George Mason on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Patriots grabbed the double point thanks to wins in the first two doubles spots. De'Sean Fennell and Mark Robinson fell 8-4 to Lange/Hill of Mason. In the second doubles spot Dale Fetterman and Thomas MacLeod fell 8-0 to Baine/Guiterrez.
 
Fennell put up a battle in the first singles spot. He dropped the first set 3-6 to Capitel before storming back and taking the second set 7-6 (8). In the deciding tiebreaker he fell 10-5.
 
Singles four was another battle with MacLeod dropping the first set 1-6 before charging back and taking the second set 6-4. In the deciding tie break he fell 10-5. Fetterman and Robinson fell in singles two and three by identical 6-1, 6-1 scores to Baine and Guiterrez of Geore Mason
 
The Explorers return to action on Wednesday as they head to Saint Joseph's.
