PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team continues their six-game road swing with matches at the Naval Academy and James Madison on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
Scouting the Explorers-La Salle is looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss at ACC foe Pittsburgh on Sunday after defeating Lehigh 2-1 last Thursday.

Madison Bower scored the game-winner in the 77
th minute against Lehigh, also her first career goal, after adding an assist on a
Marykate Bateman goal in the 17
th minute.

Emily Fenton tallied La Salle's lone goal against Pitt, which was her first goal since scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Fordham as a true freshman on October 28, 2011.
-La Salle's defense has one shutout this season (Boston Univ), and has limited three other opponents (Seton Hall, Maryland, Lehigh) to just one goal.

Scouting the Midshipmen-Navy is coming off a six-goal outburst against Eastern Tennessee State on Sunday, with all six scores coming from different players.
-Sophomore Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan had a career-high four points on one goal and two assists in the win over ETSU, and leads the team with six points (two goals, two assists) on the season.
-Eleven different Midshipmen have found the back of the net through six games in 2015.
-The Midshipmen and the Explorers share one common opponent this year in the University of Maryland. The Terps defeated the Explorers 1-0 on August 30 after handing Navy a 2-0 loss on August 23.
-Navy head coach Carin Gabarra helped start the women's soccer program in Annapolis in 1993, and is one of 20 active Division I women's soccer head coaches to have been with a program for at least 20 years since its inception.

Scouting the Dukes-JMU enters Thursday winners of three straight (VCU, East Carolina, Liberty) and will visit the University of Maryland tonight at 7 PM.
-Juniors Allie Bunner and Ashley Herndon have combined for 21 points for the Dukes this season. Bunner leads the team with 11 points (five goals, one assist) while Herndon (10 points on three goals and four assists) has recorded a point in each of JMU's games.
-Senior midfielder Kelly Kerrigan is tied with Herndon for the team lead in assists with four.
-Both JMU losses this season have been one-goal defeats at hands of ranked opponents (No. 25 Georgetown on Aug. 21 and No. 9 Virginia Tech on Aug. 28).
-The Explorers defeated James Madison 2-1 at home last fall when the Dukes were ranked No. 24 by the NSCAA and No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic region. La Salle also topped JMU 2-1 in Harrisburg in 2013.
