ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Senior
Mark Robinson picked up a straight-sets win at the No. 6 singles spot for the La Salle men's tennis team, who fell by a 6-1 margin to Navy on Sunday morning.
Robinson won the first set in a tiebreak, 7-6, then took the second at 6-4 to earn his second consecutive singles victory after a win at Lafayette. Freshman Patrick Pasual nearly matched his teammate at the No. 5 position, winning eight games but falling, 6-4, 6-4.
Navy swept the doubles point and accumulated wins at the No. 1 through No. 5 positions to improve their dual match record to 4-0 on the spring.
La Salle returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 4 with a match against Bucknell, which will be held in Hershey, Pa., beginning at 6:00 p.m.
